My Cup of Tea

   The Cup of Tea

Shook hands with me,

   "Hello, how do you do?"

I could not make A "namaskar".

   He gripped my fingers

Licked my lips

   entered my mouth

pressed my tongue

   Burnt my throat

I swirled deep deep

   In the cup of Tea

A cube of sugar.

   The telephone went on ringing.

My cup of tea has drunk me to the lees.

DUTIES OF STUDENTS AS CITIZENS

Life is too short for acquiring knowledge. Student life is mainly meant for studies. A Student who devotes his full energy and time to his studies is a good son of his motherland. India needs mentally alert and able young men and women. It is the duty of students to acquire of much knowledge as they can during their student life.

   A nation of indisciplined citizens can never make any progress. Such a nation is in danger of extinction. Indiscipline is a serious drawback of our national life. Not only students but also mature citizens, responsible readers and honorable legislators, often behave in an indisciplined way. This shows that they did not get proper training in early life. Naturally it becomes the most important duty of students to be fully disciplined. They should be disciplined in every thought and action. No one can become disciplined in a day we have to practice it every day of our life. Our students will be doing a great service to nation, if they become disciplined.

THE BEST THINGS OF LIFE

The best day- Today.

The best teacher- Experience.

The best book- Life.

The best dress- Smile.

The best shelter- Truth.

The best medicine- Laughter.

The best relation- Love.

The best gift- Forgiveness.

The best friend- Peace.

WHY I GO TO SCHOOLS??

Some children go to school just for a walk.

     While others go to have a long talk.

Some go to school to use their heads.

     While others go just to eat their lunch.

Some go to school to enjoy game.

     While other go to acquire fame.

Some go to be teacher's pet.

     While others go to take some rest.

Some go to make new friend.

     While others go to fight till end.

Some go because of rules.

     While I go to watch all these "FOOLS"!! :)

If you want to get- GET GOOD EDUCATION.

If you want to leave- LEAVE YOUR BAD HABITS.

If you want to make- MAKE YOUR CHARACTER WELL.

If you want to enjoy- ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF NATURE.

If you want to sow- SOW THE SEED OF PEACE.

THINK ABOUT TIME

ONE YEAR-Ask a student who has failed in his exams.

ONE MONTH-Ask a mother who has given birth to a four month baby.

ONE WEEK-Ask a editor for a weekly periodical news.

ONE DAY-Ask a daily wages labour.

ONE HOUR-Ask a friend waiting to has meet.

ONE MINUTE-Ask a person who has missed flight.

ONE SECOND-Ask someone who has survivor of the flight.

ONE MILLISECOND-Ask a splinter who missed the gold medal.

THE BEST THING TO GIVE

The best thing to give~

-your enemy is forgiveness.

-to a friend, your ear.

They go on strike,

They damage buses and lives,

They believe in destruction,

Without any interruption,

They always travel without tickets,

They love the commentary of crickets,

They hate the books, neglect the studies,

They go about with their friends and buddies,

They are fond of novels and pictures,

They hate and annoy their teachers,

They never care about books and studies,

They want concessions everywhere,

They boycott examination,

They follow modern fashion,

They like to wear fadied jeans,

They love the school canteen,

They do not buy books but beg and borrow,

Yet often they are called hopes of tomorrow,

They hate each rule and every regulation,

Are they "the future of our nation"?

Should not be more prudent,

One who goes about singing,

"I am a modern student".

     and a precious person,

My own best friend

     My own worst enemy,

Self respecting and confident

     Responsible for my own behaviour,

Learning from my mistakes

     always achieve my potential

Every thing a mother touches

     in her loving way,

Blossoms with her tender care

     and brightens day by day....

That's why we bring her all hopes of our

LITERATURE OF LIFE

"Literature is the comprehensive essence of the intellectual life of the nation."

    Literature has a deep and direct link with life and its relatives. It is  a vague concept that literature is something which has only an abstract significance and that literature is a dweller of the land of fancy and imagination. A Creative literature grows out of the relatives and constructive literature has no significance.

     Man's entire life including joy & the sorrows, miseries and comforts, tragedies and comedies are reflected through literature. A Motion that has no literature of it's own, as a matter of fact has no foundation. It may have a long history of our ancient literature, civilization, ancient vedic civilization with it's culture, has been mirrored in our ancient literature. 

     The words of Kalidas convey to us the greatness and glamour of nacient civilization.

     An Ideal literature i.e. literature in the real sense of the term incorporates the highest value of man's creative life. This kind of literature throw a search light of logic on the  basis of basic as well as ultimate realities of life. There is not a single zone of man's activities which is not affected creaively by import of a healthy literature.

     In the social and political field, the great writers have been those who have reflected the spirit of their times. French and Russian revolution were brought by the french and russian writers, whose writings awoke the people and prepared them to fight against unrighteous things. It is a poet like shelley who can predict to a man his ultimate bright future and assure him of a radiant future.

PERFECTION FOR LIFE SKILLS

     "Education leads to knowledge, and knowledge we all knew is power. But power is only potential. Results don't automatically flew out of knowledge gets translated into skills and skills into actions. Action happens only when you are matured enough. You get matured by your attitudes, spring into action and make the big leap when it counts which is why you need to develop that extra touch of skills and attitudes.
     In competitions, there is very little difference between the ones who make it to the top ones that follow in the next ring. Between the ones who get though and the eves who marginally fail to make it. It is here just when you are preparing for your competition, that you can clearly see the impact of right skills and attitudes.
     When everything else is equal these skills and attitudes make that big difference. And the best thing about all this is that you have these traits in you. The desire the dream and the dare. All it needs now, is a sculptor. To give it the right form, a shape that the world will look up at to make you ready to take on the world on your own terms.
    In short, you need the skills to make your life better, meaningful and more significantly, succcessful and know more about yourself.
